App News - Disney Book Apps on Sale!

This weekend, Disney Publishing is running a Mid-May Madness Sale on all Storybook apps!  From celebrated heroines in Cinderella, Tangled, and Brave to loveable creatures in Monsters, Inc. and Finding Nemo – these apps foster reading skills and dive into the back stories of these beloved characters. The sale runs from May 17 – May 21 and all Storybook apps below will be $4.99 only!

This week again lots of great new fun and educational apps entered the App Store. While browsing the what’s “New and Noteworthy” according to Apple staff in the UK and US, five caught all of our attention. Our favourites are:  a cool magical music box for toddlers - Sago Mini Sound Box -  a great learn how to read app - Reading Raven Vol 2 HD- An original ABC apps with animals - Alphabeasties - one of our top picks - Pizza Factory for Kids!  and an original and unique news app - News360: Your Personalized News Reader!

New Kids Apps - App Report May 16

How do you explain cancer to a child? The Terrifying Building in Eyeville offers an allegorical tale to ease that conversation. Apps Kids Love returns with Cars Jigsaw Puzzles, the latest in their popular line of animated puzzles. Challenge your child or yourself with Blocks Rock! from Zephyr Games (developers of Math Evolve along with Interaction Education). Plus, a curated youtube app for children, an introduction to animals and climate zones, and a news magazine for kids this week in apps from our family-friendly app network.
