Coosi Box is a newly updated app developed by Yellephant Co., Ltd. for iOS, Android, and Kindle Fire devices. It contains 3 tools (pencil, narrow brush, and wide brush), a 16 color palette, and 9 hilarious backgrounds, including a camping scene, a dinner scene, and a railroad track.

How the App Works-
The first time you open up Coosi Box, you can customize an avatar, a cartoon character that will represent you when displaying your work. Then it's time to start creating. Choosing a background starts the process.
Once that's done, select a tool and a color, and start drawing. When you're finished, hold down the arrow in the upper right corner for three seconds to save your work. Use the back arrow to see your drawing appear somewhere in the background, and then, like magic, the scene is animated.
What Fun Educational Apps Liked-
I like the concept of being able to superimpose a child's sketch onto a cartoon background. The creativity factor involved in the choice of backgrounds and the way they come to life is pretty amazing.
One of the features that sets Coosi Box apart is the ability to share the masterpiece with others. Shared animations can also be viewed by other children that have downloaded Coosi Box, who can "like" the picture by leaving a heart by it. Imagine how exciting it is for a child to see how many hearts a project earns!
Although the drawing tools work fairly well, Coosi Box's user interface is not as kid-friendly as it could be. There is a Youtube video that helps explain the different icons and how to add color to the backgrounds, but a little tutorial or a few instructions would be beneficial.
In a Nutshell-
Coosi Box is a free app that gives children an opportunity to draw, color, and paint using their imagination. When the drawing is finished, it becomes part of an animated scene that can be shared with others.
