“Children’s Bible Games & Activities” was developed by Barcelona Multimedia and translated into six languages. It includes 60 stories, 10 in each of six different sets. The stories are presented in graphic novel format, much like a comic book, and written for children ages 7-12. Matching games and art activities are included with each story, and children can earn stickers for their digital album. The story “The Wedding at Cana” is available free in the App store so the user can try out the many features.
Each additional set is available as an In-App-Purchase for $2.99. One story set, “The Birth of Jesus” (containing 55 games) is currently available, with the others due for release in the coming year. Included in the “Birth of Jesus” are all the stories related to the Nativity and Jesus’ life up to the Beatitudes.

I like the format of this app. It’s clearly organized and arranged in the same sequence as presented in the Bible. One half of the app is dedicated to the Old Testament, and the other half is dedicated to the New Testament. There is enough material to cover more than a year’s worth of religious classroom instruction.
Conclusion- With the debut of this app, Barcelona Multimedia completes its trilogy of signature apps. The previous two have been extremely well-received by both parents and religious educators, and there is ample evidence that Children’s Bible Games & Activities will enjoy similar acceptance.
