Pinball games used to be so popular and thanks to the digital age, we can now play them again at home! My kids are not very familiar with the genre, they know that mom and dad used to play it when they were younger (!) so when I told them that today’s game app review was a pinball game, they were excited!
On opening the app, simply hit the play button and you are all set to go! The goal of the game is simple, use the flippers on the side to control and throw the ball to get all the targets and bonuses while protecting the Pin Tiki natives. To play simply tap on the flippers to control and catch the ball. You will need to concentrate and have fun crush and collect Coconuts, Watermelons and Bananas, find Diamonds, Rubies, Gold and activate the Bamboo Pipe Water Sprinkler to calm down the volcano's wrath...

Pin Tiki Ball is a top game app that offers a great gaming experience ... just be careful it can be very addictive. The game is very well designed, offers stunning graphic and all the components of a top Pinball game are present. It is fun, engaging and challenging and the kids here had fun discovering all the bonuses and targets. One of our favorite is to get the ball hit the right side to go in the scorpion cave and come back with the spider web which attach between the flippers giving a longer game play! Another great feature we all like was to try to get all the bonuses to get to the hidden bonus game inside the volcano. Pretty cool!
Quite often when playing pinball game you can get frustrated when the ball passes the flipper on the right or left side, usually there is nothing you can do, but with Pin Tiki Ball your kids will love the little extra help .... Watch when you hold the flippers, on both side it expand to help you block the side drains and keep the ball in the game.
The kids loved the game and we were on for a while to see who will stay on top of the high score list ... Wondering who hold the top score? the kids or the grown ups ... Well got to admit, kids are fast learners and they are now unbeatable!!! The only comments I got from the kids is “We wished there would be more levels”. No wonder! Kids today as so used to play game with so many different levels ... Well the great news is that Operation though about it ... And new boards will be available soon. If you already own the game, updates will be free.
Got to be fair, Dad here did not enjoy the game as much as we did, but it is probably because he is used to play PinBall game. He just wished that the flippers be a bit faster!
Note - the age rating for the game is 9+ year old simply because of the spiders and scorpion that could scare a young child. If you have young kids, play it yourself before and try the Free version first - Pin Tiki Ball Free - Operatio
Overall, we are moving Pin Tiki Ball to our TOP PICK list for its stunning design, original features and top game play experience. The flipper action is great (although experienced Pinball gamers might find it a bit slow) we just loved the way Operatio has managed to re-introduce such a traditional game to children and bring back the “old school” fun on the iPad! We are really looking forward to the new board coming soon!
