Logos Test is a new game app meant to test your media savvy. How many logos can you identify before getting tripped up? Developer ICON, LLC has put together some of the world's most popular logos to test your knowledge.
Logos Test is aptly named. Test your knowledge of popular logos to see how many you can identify. The free version allows you to test your skills with automobile logos. Given full and partial logos, choose the correct manufacturer out of four multiple choice answers. But beware, three strikes and you are out.
The Logos available in the free version started easy with common automobile logos. However they got much more difficult, giving logos and choices that I had never heard of. Scoring is easy to follow. Players earn 200 points for correct answers, 100 points if you get it correct after a mistake, 2000 points for streaks of five, 1000 points for speed bonus, and 10000 points for completing a section. Beat your own high score each time you play and climb the Game Center leader boards.
For an upgrade, purchase the other logos packs (0.99 US$): Fashion, Apps, and Companies.
What Fun Educational Apps Liked
This game is fun and easy to play. The logos begin as easy to identify, but definitely get more challenging. I liked that the logos weren't always complete, making the game even tougher at times. I also always like the opportunity to beat my husband's high score at a game, so this app falls right into our competitive natures. The opportunity to play against the leader board on Game Center also allows me to indulge my competitive streak. With record keeping capabilities, it is easy to compare my scores so that I can even play against myself.
Overall, this app does just what it says it will. Test your knowledge of logos of familiar objects by beating your own high score or the scores of players in Game Center. With the option of replaying the game as many times as you want, this game could easily becoming addicting.
