If you missed our review… The app begins with Ansel and Clair zooming toward Boston. Once they land, they are greeted by a series of historical figures that describe an event leading up to the Revolutionary War. At the end of each scene, there is a short game, activity, or quiz that reviews the information. All of the activities are very child friendly and designed for ages 6-12. Before leaving the scene, there is also an opportunity to snap a photo to be placed in the child’s scrapbook. Then it’s on to the next scene. Navigating through the screens is accomplished by following blinking arrows and pointing fingers. A tutorial at the beginning of the app explains how it works in a very clear manner.
