iSpot Pro Themed Edition by UK developer Leicester App Designer.com is an educational game app designed to help kids improve visual memory and pattern recognition skills via spot the difference games. Kids aged 6 and older will go over sets of images and looking for the differences, they will use all their observational skills to spot them all! A great training to help and support visual memory skills.
On opening the app you and your kids will find five different packs - Family Pack 1 - Family Pack 2 - Classroom Pack 1 - Holiday Pack 1 - and Out and About Pack 1. For each pack there are 3 levels of increasing difficulty , each with 5 games. From there, simply select a pack. Two almost identical images display on screen but look closely ... In the first level, kids need to spot two differences for each games, 3 differences in level 2 and 4 in level 3. Each time kids finish a game they get a chance to unlock the next one.
If your kids like the challenge, you can increase the difficulty by adding timer options!

iSpot Pro Themed Edition is an educational game that helps kids learn and train their visual memory and pattern recognition skills. It is not the usual bright and colorful Spot the Difference game as the underlining goal is to train and educate children based on practice and repetition. Quite often with Spot the Difference game kids look at it, find the difference and move on. iSpot Pro Themed Edition is different. For each pack, kids play with the same picture through out all 15 games. Each time they will need to concentrate and look carefully. In game one the difference might be a missing shoe and a different color top, in game 2, kids need to start their observation from start. It starts easy, but the further you go it gets more challenging.
In fact the first few games are easy, but you realize that when looking at the same picture again and again, finding the difference becomes a lot harder! The reality is that the key to help increase visual memory and recognition is practice. With this app kids are given the chance to go over the same picture over and over again each time looking closely at what did change!
At first, I really missed a musical background, but the more I think about it, the more I wonder if music would only bring distraction? ... and believe me if you want your kids to finish all the levels ... They will need to concentrate and look carefully.
Overall, iSpot Pro Themed Edition is a different type of Spot The Difference game. It is a great game tool that will help reinforce visual perception, visual memory and pattern recognition skills. At Fun Educational Apps we think that this game app is best suited for educational purposes and ideal to help and support some kids with special needs but might not be your first choice for toddlers and pre-schoolers.
