Whether you have a budding musical genius or a child who simply loves to bang the drum, this app provides many different ways for your youngster to be immersed in music. From the acclaimed Beatles artist Alan Aldridge and two talented composers from Cirque du Soleil, this app is sure to delight. With three different background tunes featuring horns, an electric guitar, or a banjo, the app begins with a solid background melody. From there, it's nothing but freedom to design your own tune.
The app offers a sliding screen featuring 24 different instruments, each with a unique sounds. From bells and horns, to a didgeridoo and a rain stick, each instrument has an individual sound and tone. Players tap the items to add sounds to the background melody. Don't want to hear the background music? Simply tap the bottom corner to shut it off and make your own unique tune. If you love what you hear, record it and share it. The app has a button in the bottom left hand corner so that you can record the masterpiece and share it via email with whomever you want.

To begin with, this app is beautiful. The instruments are whimsically drawn and engaging for the young crowd. With three very different background tunes, and the combination of 24 instruments, the musical possibilities are endless. Children will enjoy the freedom to add and subtract sounds to create their own unique song. Parents will love the chance to record these unique songs to send to relatives and friends, or to save and enjoy later. With limitless combinations, this app has hours of possibilities for the 2-5 year old crowd.
Overall, this app provides the freedom for children to explore and create music in a unique way. It offers a base tune with such a huge variety of instruments to explore. With instruments ranging from culturally different musical devices to items found in the kitchen, it wouldn't surprise me to see this app inspire a round of homemade instruments in our own house.
