Brainy Fables are a series of four great fun, educational and engaging book app for the kids. Cute illustrations, great stories and each time a universal message about the value of creative thinking skills for the achievement of one's goals.
When reading with the kids I always like to find book apps that offer a message and encourage kids to think about various aspects of life and values. Today, Fun Educational Apps would like to let you know about a unique and original series the Brainy Fables written by Franco Soldi , illustrated by Pedro Bascón and developed Next Stage. It is a collection of four fables for kids aged four to seven. Each book app features a great story that communicates essential and valuable messages to help our kids think outside the box and learn to look around and think to achieve their goals.
Each book app offers two reading options ('Read to me' and 'Read it myself'), two language options in English and Spanish, hidden sounds on each page, charming illustrations depicting each scene, intuitive handling and individual page turning according to your child's reading pace.

A modern day fable about the importance of developing the ability to come up with alternatives when things get out of our control.”
“Marcelo is a very talented fox but he's also very conceited. He has been invited along with all the animals to a grand ball at the Lion's palace. Marcelo wants to show off in front of everyone but things don't work out the way he planned, and it's the ugliest animal, Felipe the toad, who teaches him a lesson.”
“Like all the other piglets on the farm, Horacio loves eating and playing in the mud. But little Horacio has a dream: He wants to become famous. However, it is only when the great race horse Sultan agrees to help him become the fasted piglet on the farm that Horacio realizes achieving your goals requires determination and endurance.”

What Fun Educational Apps Liked!
The Brainy Fables are written by Franco Soldi who has worked with children and teenagers at 'Young Potential Development' for many years. Each fable is a lesson for life and passes great messages to the kids.
Mirta the Fly will show your kids that even with a great goal and strategy you always need to be able to adjust and assess the situation. Goals and planning are important but one should never forget to look at the whole picture and if something does not work be ready to have alternative solutions, look around and assess the situation. Keep an open mind and adjust to the situation.
Horacio the Piglet will show your kids that nothing comes easy. If you know what you want, you will need to work hard at it. Just wanting something is not enough, you need to be prepared to put the effort. It is all a matters of decision. There is no right or wrong ones, in fact “any decision is good” as long as you know the “price” of it, what it will take to achieve your goals and will make you happy.
The other two fables Marcelo the Fox and Uxmal and the Great Pyramid Challenge will also pass on important values where Marcelo will illustrate that nothing happens unless you take action and Uxmal story will encourage your children to aim at the star. Please note that some of the stories have an open ending and we strongly suggest you read along with your kids, talk about the challenges each character is facing and discuss with your kids why in life you sometimes need to think outside the box, assess the situation and be open minded to the unexpected in order to triumph over life's little problem..
Each fable is nicely illustrated and well narrated which in turns convert each adventure into a visual experience for both children and parents. The kids at Fun Educational Apps where engaged through out each one of them. These book apps offer audio features but do not expect rich interactive features. In fact I really think that pops up and animation would distract the kids from the main message, the only think I would suggest for the young reader is text highlight to help them read along.
Overall, the kids at Fun Educational Apps loved all four fables. They were engaged, entertained and most importantly it opened the door to some great discussion. Make sure to go over these book app with your kids as each story can help us parents pass on important messages about values, self confidence, and the importance creative thinking skills for the achievement of one's goals. We all had a fantastic reading experience and a great dialogue ... hope you will too!
