On opening the app your kids will meet cute and friendly Dr. Panda. From there, they have access to 4 different landscapes. In each one they will find animals belonging to that group and can tap on all the various animals to listen to audio sounds as well as watch great short animation. To play a game simply tap on one of the board. The kids play a series of games and at the end are rewarded with an animal for their own zoo.
What Fun Educational Apps Liked
Dr. Panda Teach Me! Preschool is a great fun learning app. It offers bright and colourful design with cute characters. Easy to navigate it engages and entertains the kids. It offers an intuitive interface where kids are invited to explore by touching and sliding; all instructions are spoken so no need to know how to read to play. Let your kids explore and once they find out that by tapping an animal they can listen to its sound and watch them animate, they will want to explore further!
The games are varied and easy to play, perfect for the age group. Games can be played as many time as you want. There is no pressure and no worry if your kids get it wrong there is no penalty.... just a cute little sad face from Dr. Panda!!! Some features we liked are that for the counting games kids can tap on any animals to start counting. Each time they tap on an animal it swirls, disappears and an audio voice does the counting. The kids also loved the counting from 1 to 20 with Dr. Panda ... Each number is designed with a group of animals; they arrive as a group, display as a number and slide away. Cool!
For each game, kids play a series and are rewarded at the end by picking up an animal for their own zoo. The zoo can be visited at any time and kids can drag the animals around but be careful, when putting an animal in the recycling box ... It disappears and does not come back! Just wish there would be more in that section and a chance to get the animal back if you accidently put it in the box.
Finally, as a great supporter to young kids learning a foreign language Fun Educational Apps really like the multi language features. You can easily switch from one language to the other, by simply taping the setting button on the top right hand corner and that’s it. For example, if you are in a game to learn about colour you tap on an animal, the audio will say out loud that colour in English, now tap the setting button change the language and tap the animal again ... a great way to expose young kids to various language.
Overall, Dr. Panda Teach Me! Preschool is a great, fun, engaging and interactive app for your little ones. It is easy to use and your kids will develop many early learning skills including learning how to count from 1 to 20; identify colours and shapes; work with sizes; develop observation logic and memory skill via 10 fun educational mini games.
