The Mom,It’s Me series is a unique. It offers a high level of personalization where by uploading your kid’s picture, they become the main star. If you want to make this book app very special to your kids, we recommend you go over the setting before reading with your kids.
First, select boy or girl and then select a picture for your kids. Once selected, the picture can be adjusted, enlarged or rotated simply by pinching the screen. If you have several kids, you can even personalize each page. Simply tap on the face and select another picture from your library. You can also add audio simply by tapping and holding on the face picture, after few second a pop up frame will open. Record a special message for your kids and ... let them do it for extra fun!
With The Lost Gorilla, your kids are on for an African adventure. Kids get a chance to help baby gorilla find his parents. Fly with the magical kite, explore and spot the various animals hiding on every page. A cute story full of interactive features.
What Fun Educational Apps Likes!
As with the other apps in the series, the kids really enjoyed the high level of personalisation and loved adding their pictures and record themselves. We had a great time and read the story with a different kid on each page! The kids thought, it was pretty cool to have a book app with them on it.
Fully narrated and interactive - every page offers animations and sounds. Let the kids explore and search for the hidden animals. To do so they can pinch to zoom in and out. The interactive features are great and the design bright, colourful and engaging.
The only down side … it includes Social Network Integrations. On each page with just 1 tap kids can access Facebook or Twitter … Originally designed to allow parents to share pages with their children's' photos with friends and family, Fun educational Apps would have preferred to have an option to save the page as a picture to share later. We wish these links be removed or made child proof as they do not bring anything to the kids.
Overall, a unique personalized storybook app staring your own kids. A cute story with bright and colourful illustrations. Well designed with lots of interactive features it will entertain and help your kids learn about animals and family values.
