A+blocks is a good activity app. It allows kids to identify and interact with colours, shapes and position via 30 levels of increasing difficulty. Using the app is easy and for each level kids need to drag the correct shape to the illustration.
- First children need to select a shape on the drawing.
- Then moving to the right side of the screen, kids select the right colour. It will change the colours of the shapes.
- Then kids simply need to drag the correct shape to the right spot on the drawing. As your little ones progress through the game, they will not only need to identify the right colour and shape, they will need to check if the shape needs to be turned or not.
If a shape needs turning, they will simply drag it to the turning machine and tap the button. Each tap turns it by a quarter.

Fun Educational Apps like that each level increases in difficulty where kids need to visualise the position of the shape and decide if it needs turning or not.
The kids at Fun Educational Apps really enjoy dragging the block to the turning machine and thought that taping on the button to make it turn was cool!
We liked the concept of the app as it offers a lot of potential. Please note that once in the app there is no button to go back to the menu and there is no navigation tap. You cannot go forward or backward to skip or redo a drawing. REVOLUMEDIA though about adding extra button but when tested with young children it was confusing for them and reset buttons were remove to allow children to fully play with the app without accidently being transferred to another screen
Overall, A+block is a great game app that will keep the kids engaged and entertain and help improve fin motore skills. It allows them to recognize and interact with shape and colours in a very innovative way. It offers a great potential and is suitable for activities at home, at school, or within a home-school program. It can also benefit special needs children.
