2 X 2 = 4 is a nice multiplication app. It is easy to use and kid friendly. It allows practice for both multiplication and division for times tables from 2 to 12. Kids can select which table they want to learn and decide if they want to work on 1 table, 2 or all of them at the same time. It also offers a high bound in tables that can be set through dialog Settings 3-12 which provides possibility even for very small children (aka 6-7 years old) to learn times tables. Use the “Learn” tap and kids will see the table displayed, use the “Play” mode and off they are ready for practice. It offers 3 levels of level of complexity (the speed of shooting at pirate is raising or lowering).
We like the fact that when giving an answer kids can enter the correct answer 2 ways: by figures or by multiple choices. You, as a parent or teacher can also track your kids progress as all played games can be saved. If your kids don't know an answer, help is available and the correct answer will show on screen to reinforce learning.
Overall, 2 X 2 = 4 is a fun learning app. It is easy to use and will for sure help your kids practice their times tables. It offers a fun setting with cannon balls which will engage and motivate your kids. Speed and knowledge are your kids weapon to win the battle.
