Addroit HD: Math Game App for kids Aged 6+
When it comes to math practice, don’t be afraid to offer a wide selection of math game apps to your kids to give them a chance to keep on learning. Math game apps provide a fun way to keep the kids engaged and let them practice while playing. If you are looking for a game to help improve speed in adding or subtracting small numbers – numbers from 0 to 25 - then you may want to check Addroit , a new math game app to sharpen math skills.
On opening the app your kids will find details on how to play the game. The game is easy to operate and children will need to slide the spaceship from left to right to collect numbers to maintain the right amount of energy to keep the spaceship going. Watch the numbers falling. Some will add energy and others will take it away. The goal is to identify which one to catch as fast as possible knowing that you always need to keep the battery levels between 0 and 25. If you add or subtract the wrong number and go over the limit … the battery will explode and it’s game over!
What Fun Educational Apps Liked!
Addroid is a fun, addictive and challenging math game app where kids practice additions and subtraction to sharpen their math skills. It will help players perfect their speed as they have to think fast and quickly decide whether to catch a number or avoid it.
It offers 3 levels of difficulty – Really Easy, Not Really Easy, and Really Not Easy. As your kids start the game, we strongly suggest starting with the first level in order to become familiar with the game. The difference in each level is the speed at which the numbers are falling and extra bonus.
The kids at Fun Educational Apps enjoyed the game although it requires a bit of practice to start with. They had to learn to think fast and take the time to identify which number to catch. (Just wished the number would display slightly bigger!) To know which number to catch, make sure your kids or student keep an eye on the counter on the right hand side of the spaceship, each time you catch a number it adds or subtracts on the counter. As kids progressed through the game, they enjoyed the challenge and liked the added bonus stars as well as the coloured aliens falling with numbers that give extra points or protection.
The game requires concentrations as there are a lot of numbers falling down. Practice is the key to sharpen math skills and move on through the game. The game is best suited for kids that are already proficient in adding and subtracting numbers and need to increase speed. Young learners might have a hard time as it is a fast pace game and there are a lot of numbers to identify.
Overall, Addroit is a fast pace math game that will help kids sharpen their math skills. It offers practice to add and subtract numbers via a challenging arcade style game.
