Basic arithmetic practice is a must do for the kids and when it looks like a game … your kids will want to practice over and over again. Math Critters is a great math game app that will do both entertain and teach your kids. On opening the app kids can choose between 2 game styles: Adventure or Arcade.
Adventure will embark your kids in an adventure where they will need to chase the Math Wizards across 5 lands. The delightful Critters have turned into blocks! The only way to save them is to help them prove they can solve math problem. Get ready to add, subtract, multiply or divide numbers so the Critters can return to their initial form!
Arcade: in this mode kids need to give the right answer to math facts to keep the game going. It can be played as a 1 player – Compete against your own score or 2 players- where siblings or friend can compete against each other.

Math Critters is a fun, easy to use and very cute math game app. The little critters are delightful critters that make funny noise. The kids at Fun Educational Apps had a good time with the game and though it was a great game. They liked all the pop ups that spice up the game. A clock gives you extra time and when the bomb explodes, all the blocks go away! The thing they did not like it wait for the right number block to drop down!
The settings are easy to use and well done for the little ones. The design is nice, colourful and fresh to engage the kids. In both mode Fun Educational Apps liked that when you give a wrong answer the floor moves up but comes back down if the next answer is correct. It offers a great way to practice mental math. For each math fact, Kids will find various forms such as : adding two numbers (4 + 7 = ) or find the missing number (6 + = 11). Via the setting menu you can decide to practice which fact you want to do. With the youngest you might want to select just one type of equation: addition or subtraction; and with the more advance select all 4 types -addition, subtraction, division, multiplication - to add up some challenge!
Overall, Math Critters is a top fun math game app, ideal to practice mental math. It allows kids to practice various math equation; one at a time or all of them at once for extra challenge. It is easy to use, fun and challenging … a great fun educational game for your little ones.
