As with other apps from the series – Speech with Milo – one of our favourite features is the settings options. It allows you to customize the app according to the need of your children. You can choose to listen to the narration or turn it off, have the text displayed or not and encourage your kids to tell the story on their own. Kids at Fun Educational Apps loved to record and listen to themselves, a top hit! If you want your kids to just focus on the story and decide not to have any interactive features, you can do so via the settings.
Another great feature is the “listen” button. The story does not unfold by itself. Kids will need to tap on the button in order to listen. It gives you the time to speak about the story with your kids, encourage them to describe what happen before listening to the narration. You can also have your kids record their story first and then listen to the narrator. It is all up to you.
Overall, Speech with Milo: Interactive Storybook is a top storybook app that offers a great educational and replay value. It is well done and will support toddlers and pre-schoolers language skills development.
