Word Ball might look easy at first. You have balls floating over the screen. Each one
Word Ball offers 3 play modes - classic, frenzy, and sprint - choose one and then simply tap the letter you need to make a word. Once your word is complete enter it for validation. Create as many word as you can and remember each word needs to be at least 3 letters and can only be used once but the same latter can be used as many time as you need.

At Fun Educational Apps the whole family had a great time playing Word Ball. It is a top fun educational game and we were very pleased to see that you can spell a word using either the US or UK spelling, we tried color and colour; realised and realized; and both spelling were counted as words. We also liked the fact that there is not pre-set word list, instead you need to find out the words by yourself.
We liked the game play. It is easy to use, fun and challenging. It looks quite easy to start with but don't be mistaken you will need to think and you will need to remember old words or come up with new ones.
For examples you start thinking about a word and spell it in your mind, then you need to find the letter, they are bouncing all the time and if you take too much it might have disappeared....and you need to find a new word! As you progress through the game, it gets harder ...balls move faster, shrink in size and disappear, and with fewer letters finding new words become more difficult... Thinking, Concentration and focus are the keys.
Stimulating, challenging and great for the whole family Word Ball offers hours of fun. It is probably best suited for kids aged 8+ and over to get the maximum fun but younger children,together with your help will also be up for the challenge and can focus on 3 -4 letter words. A nice way to find and learn new words for your little ones.
Watch out, if you like word game apps, then Word Ball can be addictive. Compete against yourself and improve your scores. Check out your stats and medals screen. Or, if you want to let the world know how good you are? Then share your results on Open Feint or Game Center. Invite friends and see who the best speller is.

This app is really good ! But it think my kids prefer Word Bullseye ! It different and there nothing like it in the app store .
