Chuck and Friends: Friends for the Long Haul is about the famous little truck Chuck from the TV series The Adventure of Chuck and Friends. Chuck and his friends are having a great time playing chasing bad guys when a new player, Flip, arrives in the scrap yard. Chuck is not so sure about Flip and challenges him to a stunt contest.
The story goes and as friendship develops, the 2 realize that by working together thing are much better. From the start kids will be engaged by the top bright and colorful illustrations and very professional narration.
As kids discover the new adventure of Chuck and Friends, they will view great animation like short video and interact with some fun educational games such as memory matching where children need to find 2 matching pairs to uncover letters, or word game where using their finger kids will need to wipe clean the mud or water spot to discover letters that make up a word. Each time kids gain a word that can later be used in a rebus style game that develops comprehension and reading skills. The great part is each time you read/play the app you get new words.
This great story book app is easy to use and ideal if you want to read with your kids or let them play on their own. Either way it is a great addition to your kids’ iLibrary and iPayrooom.

The story is engaging and original and offers a high moral where kids will see Chuck and his friends learn about honesty, teamwork and friendship and realize how important it is.
It is a storybook app that promote reading where kids can use the various options provided “read to me”, “read myself” or even “record your own”. Each word is highlighted as the text is read to the kids to enhance basic reading comprehension. The game play -word puzzle and memory games- is fun and educational and support spelling, letter recognition, picture word association and basic problem solving. The rebus at the end helps children sum up the story and reinforce critical thinking and comprehension skills.
