Visual Math Level 1 is a new iPad math apps for kids 4 to 6. It offers various math activities using every day pictures as visual stimuli to work on pattern recognition, shape identification, number recognition , time reading and mastering basic early math concept such as measurement , less vs. more, heavier vs. smaller.
When working with math, kids react to different stimuli and more than half of the children learn best through pictorial images. Based on this concept, Weily Apps has developed Visual Math; a math app for iPad that uses every day images to support basic math concepts for kids aged 4 to 6.
Visual Math: Engaging Math Apps using visual Stimuli
Visual Math offers 6 different categories – Shape recognition, More or Less, Number Recognition, Measurement, Patterns and Time - over several rounds of questions. For each round, kids need to answer 12 questions. To answer, children have to drag, move or tap the correct answer and tap OK. Each answer generates a cute animation and each round is separated with funny musical interludes. Visual Math provides a fun interactive experience.
What Fun Educational Apps Liked:
Visual Math supports early math concept by using engaging images and sounds. We also like the idea of the reward system that motivates and stimulates kids learning. Each time kids give a correct answer they earn points that will be redeemed for the bonus activity: “Badge art”.
After learning kids can have fun creating collage with images from the app itself or with images from your iPad photo album. Creation can then be saved and emailed or even shared via Facebook and Twitter.Visual math also adjust to your kids progress by offering 3 levels of challenge and as a parent, you can follow your kids performances of the Progress Page.

Why would one allow sharing via Twitter & Facebook (both being 13+) on an app aimed at under 9 year olds?
