My Very First App - Best Fun Learning App for Toddlers

My very First App - a “best kids apps” is inspired from Eric Carle’s book My First Book Series and adapted to the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch to give you fun interactive educational games apps for toddlers. 

As a mom, dad, parents or grandparents, I am sure at one point in time you have read with your toddlers some of Eric Carle’s books  such as the The Very Hungry Caterpillar, or his famous series My First Book Series that includes My Very First Book of Colours; Sounds; and Shapes.

It was only a matter of time, before Eric Carle amazing work be transposed into the world of mobile technology.  Fun Educational Apps is happy to let you know that now you and your kids can enjoy Eric Carle’s concept on your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad with My Very First App.

My Very First App offers some amazing artwork, even more impressive when viewed on the iPad. This educational game app offers 3 levels of game play and levels increase as kids’ play.  Each level helps with learning and recognizing colours by introducing a different matching game. 

• 1st level – easy. As with the book series, the screen is split in 2. At the top is the colour your toddler will have to match; at the bottom is an object. You and your kids will need to swipe the object till you find the matching colour. Once you have a match, the answer will be announced and written, in this case “a blue bird”.
• Level 2 – Medium, is a matching memory game. Toddlers are presented with a set of cards face down and kids need to find a matching object.
• Level 3 – Hard is still a matching memory game but a little bit harder. It is a mix of level 1 and 2 where toddlers need to match object and colours such as “green and Trees”  “pink flower”.

My Very First App is bright, colourful, refreshing, fun and educational. I like the concept of the first level, where kids need to swipe to find a match. You can play and review the colours with your toddler, but you can also let him/her play. No risk they stop the games and play something else on your iPhone, to change level or option with My Very First App, you need to tap and hold to make a change, so your little ones will not leave the game, they can go on and on playing.

 

My Very First App is available on the app store (0.99$) and include Colours. If you want to expand the content of My Very First App you can add additional levels via the  in-app-purchase and discover more fun educational games apps with Animal Sounds, Shapes, Food, and Numbers ($.99 each). Later this year Words, Motion, and Animal Homes will be added to the in-app purchase section.
