The Montessori Learning is based on learning through all five senses, not just through listening, watching, or reading... With Montessori children are encourage to try and experiment. Kids are able to make choices and are encouraged to see learning as an exciting process of discovery. Being motivated to learn encourages concentration, motivation and self discipline.
One aspect of the Montessori Method is the "activity", where an activity along with some materials is given to the child. The child learns through experiment and play. There are many different activities to choose from to learn numbers, forms and letters.

With the kids we really enjoyed playing Montessori Crosswords - Spelling With Phonics-Enabled Alphabet. They were focused on moving the correct letter to the grid. For some tricky words, they kids liked the fact that help is at hand. If they don’t know a word they can just tap on the “?” and the word appears. They still learn the word by dragging the letters to the grid. You can play it over and over, every time you get a different puzzle. Once the puzzle is finished, kids get rewarded and can with many different interactive animations. With the kids we really enjoyed playing with Montessori Crosswords and had great fun with the standalone movable alphabet.
Montessori Crosswords educational game app is also very flexible. You can choose the letter case, the alphabet layout (alphabetical order or split vowels and consonants). With Montessori Crosswords spelling apps kids will learn over 280 words.
